Can anyone recommend a hair stylist in the center city to south Philly area for curly hair?

I have thick, curly hair and have been searching for a cut that I can easily/quickly manage for my whole life. I like to wear my hair curly (because it's just easier that way) and I want someone to cut my hair who has been TRAINED to do so. Can anyone help a curly girl out?

    Jen at Ovations (around Spring Garden & 3rd) is brilliant! She understands curly girls! I've been going to her for 10 years, as do all my curly girlfriends.

    YEs! best hairstylist in Philly for any and all hair is Audrey Dwyer at Studio Teknik located at 10th and South st! I have thick curly hair myself and she is wonderful. Shes 8 years experienced. Wonderful website www.audreyismystylist.com

    If one is to achieve a license to cut hair they have to know how to cut hair. How about a barber rather than a hair stylist?How much do you wanna spend? Because you know the shops in center city are going to cost you an arm and leg.
