  Do you believe the hype over GroundHog Day? Why?

  1 0 Its a holiday based on ancient tradition. The fact that it really isn't a "important" holiday doesn't mean it is worthless. If anyone makes money off of Groundhog Day, they are probably paying taxes. If someone is spending money on Groundhog Day, they are feeding the economy. As far as legend, I believe that winter will end eventually, spring will come, turn to summer, then to fall, and then it all starts over again. If a Groundhog says that winter ends early, maybe it will. Can anyone say for sure? Nature has its own way of signaling. Maybe she gave a special gift to Groundhogs. Maybe Phil is just better at it than others. Or, maybe his PR people are just better at their jobs. Regardless, ask the people of Punxsutawney if they believe!   How do you feel about the proposed ban on texting while driving?

  0 0 The Fact that we have to have a law against something like this just proves we are a society that needs a spanking. It should be obvious that when you are operating a vehicle in ANY situation, you should be focused on one thing: OPERATING SAID VEHICLE! Anything else should be considered reckless driving.
